How to improve your Google search results
Most people never look past the first page. Fill it with pages you control.

Search yourself properly
Use a private browser window, search your full name in quotes, then your name with your city and with your employer. Note the first ten results for each.
Claim the strong platforms
LinkedIn, a personal site and one or two active social profiles usually rank well for a name. Use the same name, photo and headline on each.
Link your pages to each other
Put your site in every bio and your profiles on your site. Pages that point to each other help search engines connect them to you.
Keep them fresh
Update at least one profile a month: a new post, a new role, a project. Active pages tend to stay visible.
Check again in a month
Changes take time. Compare the new results with your notes and adjust.
